The lubricated G-tube enters the stomach. A traction suture
is provided for positioning the tube by the gastroscope.
8.
The traction suture is grasped by "rat-toothed"
forceps and retracted into the gastroscope. The tube is towed into the duodenum.
9.
The stiff extra-long forceps remain to hold the tube within
the duodenum. Only the gastroscope is withdrawn into the stomach. The forceps
follow later.
